Lead Data scientist for R&D Division

KMD, is looking for an expert in data science. You will be working in the field of data and process mining for evidence-based predictive and prescriptive decision support systems.
You will be involved in defining and solving different AI projects together with our customers, primarily the public sector in Denmark, but you will also be helping on large research projects together with partners and universities.

You will be the lead data scientist of our new Center for Applied AI (CAAI) in the Research & Development division in KMD. You will get an outstanding opportunity to build the right team and help make people’s lives better with amazing software products, using leading edge technology.

Are you our data and process mining wizard?
We are looking for a lead data scientist with a Master or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent qualifications preferably with a background in process modelling, mining and analysis and should have experience with professional implementation of these fields. The candidate should be enthusiastic and willing to be the mentor for the team.
You have programming skills, preferable in Python, and use a range of coding practices to build scalable products that can be used by strategic or operational users and can be further integrated into business systems.
We expect that you have several of the following skills:
- You understand, practice and are familiar with a wide range of methods within data science
- You recognize and exploit business opportunities to ensure more efficient and effective ways to use data science to tackle business and organizational hurdles
- You can develop data science knowledge utilizing multiple sources and share data science practices across departments
- Knowledge of containers, cloud computing (preferentially Azure), professional development (continuous integration, Git version control, etc.), and databases (SQL or other)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to promote AI/ML methods through webinars, workshops, presentations etc.
Starting date of the position: As soon as possible. The salary will be after negotiation with KMD.
