Ambitious Master Data Specialist
Our divisions are dependent on data insights to ensure an optimal value chain – from development and production to sales and retail. Do you want to help them ensure consistency and quality of all underlying data?
As a master data specialist, you will get an opportunity to combine your interests in data, people and technology. And you get to travel and support colleagues all over the world. Do you want to join us?
Within Group IT at our HQ in Bredebro, you will join 17 colleagues in our Master Data and IT Governance team. Together with our 4 master data specialists, you are responsible for our global set-up of master data related to the entire value chain from development and production to sales and retail. Thus, your overall task is to ensure that our data and systems, such as SAP, Innovator and Salesforce, are continuously updated and aligned.
Supporting your colleagues from Development to Finance, you develop entirely new set-ups and optimize existing system processes. You will play a key role in ensuring that the processes fit together and create value for all stakeholders involved. As you will be a part of an international organization, you will have the opportunity to work at our business world-wide, and you can expect approximately 30 travel days a year.
More specifically, you:
- Identify user needs and translate them into proper system requirement specifications and processes
- Carry out system analyses, e.g. considering implications of the applications
- Train colleagues, both in smaller and larger groups, to make the most of the systems
- Develop guidelines for master data
- Establish and conduct global master data control.
You enjoy diving into quantitative data, and you do so with a structured and detail-oriented approach. Furthermore, you are a team player, and you like collaborating with others to explore new ways of optimizing processes and securing accuracy and quality.
Many different roads lead to this position, but we imagine that you:
- Have solid experience with master data maintenance and processes, preferably from a global function
- Preferably have experience working with cross-departmental processes
- Are familiar with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Have excellent English communication skills in both speech and writing and experience working with stakeholders at different levels.
As a part of our onboarding programme, you will be thoroughly introduced to our different departments and your new wonderful colleagues.
We offer a challenging and varied job in an international company constantly developing, and characterized by an informal environment and a good cooperation, where good initiatives and ideas are valued.
Your continued personal and professional development is essential to us and we offer participation in internal and external courses, educations and conferences supporting this development.
