Do you master the governance of Software Management, and can you negotiate the best deals?
Then this might be the job for you. As Software Asset Manager, you will be involved in the management of software acquisition, compliance, maintenance renewals, life cycle planning and costing in a Global company.
Software Asset Management is a part of Global IT, which is the overall IT unit in DSV and responsible for global IT development, operations, maintenance and support. We operate in an international environment and maintain a tight co-operation with business units throughout DSV.
Global IT is informal and decision processes are short. You will have close dialogue with executive management and other key stakeholders in the organization and you will have a unique chance to influence the development of DSV' software portfolio.
Governance, Support and Compliance:
As Software Asset Manager you will be the Microsoft ‘go to person’ in the SAM Team, and in that way our expert on the subject. Moreover, you will:
- Support DSV’ Software Asset Management Tool (SNOW)
- Drive or Participate in vendor selections from a licensing perspective
- Independently negotiate with Software vendors
- Ensure compliance for “your” products
- Secure control and transparency in software purchases
- Be a driver for SAM process automatization
IT asset/software manager with solid experience working with SAM
It is a plus if you have worked with Microsoft agreements and governance, as well as being fluent in English. Furthermore, the following qualifications will be prioritised:
- IT Asset Management and Discovery Tools experience
- Negotiation skills
- Experience interpreting licensing terms and conditions
- An IAITAM certification
