You lay the foundation for business success
As Senior Manager, you will head up our newly formed unit responsible for Business Intelligence, Integrations, Identity & Access Management and other application services, some of which are SaaS deliveries. Through careful vendor management and excellent teamwork, you ensure that the business support systems under your care are being utilised to their full potential – and continuously re-evaluated, redesigned or replaced to help Milestone and our employees reach our full potential. In short, you help shape the way we do business as we pursue our international growth ambitions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring vendors deliver at the agreed quality, time and cost
- Managing SaaS and other application services delivered through external vendors, as well as internally delivered services
- Coaching, developing and setting clear and meaningful goals for five team members
- Delegating responsibility to team members and supporting them in reaching their targets.
Working at our headquarters in Brøndby, you will refer to our Head of Business Application Development and join the leadership team of that department. The department consists of four units and 22 people in all.
You combine management skills with technological insight
To succeed in this position, you have a university-level degree in technology, business management or another relevant field and some 3-5 years of experience with people management. You are comfortable leading highly skilled specialists working on custom built systems and installations, as well as external consultants and freelancers. You have also learned how to handle vendors delivering application services for on-premise or cloud (PaaS, SaaS) delivery. In addition, it will be an advantage if you are familiar with:
- Business Intelligence, Integration and Identity Access Management
- Agile development
- Enterprise and solution architecture principles.
As a person you are quality conscious, curious and interested to learn new concepts, as well as comfortable communicating in English at a professional level. You focus on applying your skills to help your colleagues and engage in the challenges and opportunities they encounter.
