Can you shape our business support systems to support success?
As our new Manager for ERP and eCom, you’ll head up the unit responsible for the development and maintenance of Milestones ERP system (Navision) and B2B web store (based on DynamicWeb). You will ensure that your team supports the business units on a day to day basis; you will focus on delivering valuable improvements and changes to the systems, optimizing the team’s processes, and continuously improve the efficiency within the team.

You lay the foundation for business success
Your team must ensure that we are delivering on business needs and that the system under your care are continuously re-evaluated, redesigned or replaced to help Milestone and our employees reach our full potential. In short, you help shape the way we do business as we pursue our international growth ambitions. We expect you to:
- Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure business requirements are transformed into solution proposals and further into operational systems and applications.
- Set and optimize internal processes in the team to continuously improve on efficiency, satisfaction, motivation and quality in deliveries.
- Perform resource planning and capacity management in your area. This includes managing external vendors providing support and capacity extension when needed, as well as creating scenarios and option for deliveries.
- Coach, develop and grow your (5 – 7) team members.
- Set clear and meaningful goals for your team members
- Delegating responsibility to team members and supporting them in reaching their goals.
Working at our headquarters in Brøndby, you will refer to our Head of Business Application Development and join the leadership team of that department. Business Application Development consists of four units and 22 people in all.
You combine management skills with technological insight
To succeed in this position, you have a university-level degree in technology, business management or another relevant field and some 3-5 years of experience with people management. You are comfortable leading highly skilled specialists working on business-critical, customized, or custom-built systems and installations, as well as external consultants and freelancers. In addition, it will be an advantage if you are familiar with:
- ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Navision/Dynamics.
- B2B e-commerce solutions and associated business processes.
- Agile development – e.g. scrum
- Enterprise and solution architecture principles.
As a person you are extrovert, takes initiative and proactive towards your stakeholders. You enjoy focusing on improving the way we deliver, and you are curious to find new approaches to do so. You are an excellent people manager that focuses on helping your team and individual team members grow and improve, to be able to reach even higher and more ambitious goals. You thrive in a job that is a mix of supporting the daily business and finding new ways and optimizing Milestones business support.
You’re quality conscious and comfortable communicating in English at a professional level.
