Transaction monitoring (TM) specialist for anti-money laundering program

We want to develop an AML solution of the future together with our customers. We are looking for a new colleague who would like to have a significant part in the creation of a brand-new Transaction Monitoring (TM) solution for our customers. As a TM specialist, you will be a part of one of the highest priorities in BEC, the Financial Crime Program. The program shall deliver IT solutions for the future. We must support our customer by building secure technology that prevents and detect potential financial crime (AML & fraud).
If you wish to work in an area with high attention, then this strategic focus area in BEC is the place where we are looking at some exciting challenges. You will have a significant part in the creation of a brand-new TM solution for BEC's customers together with your colleagues in an agile team, with both a product owner, scrum master, business consultants, and software developers. The team is responsible for the implementation of a new TM solution. You will have a close dialogue and sparring with AML experts and representatives from banks to develop solutions, which are both innovative and compliant with Danish and International law. You will be working with stakeholder management and the relationships with our customers in collaboration with the product owner.
Your daily tasks will be to analyze the existing and future TM functionality to secure compliance, and the solution is well-documented and well-implemented. You will be able to develop expert skills, so you actively can engage in the work with developing new innovative TM solutions on our future AML platform from one of the leading suppliers.
As a person, you are proactive, energetic, analytical, and structured, working with a good overview. You are a team player and comfortable working with TM solutions, as well as optimizing models and scenarios. You find it easy to communicate both in Danish and English. Quality is on top of your mind, and you have an analytical approach, which makes it easy for you to familiarize yourself with new areas of work. You understand the customer's challenges within AML solutions, and you take pride in delivering quality with your colleagues.
We expect that you:
- Hold a degree as cand.merc.IT, engineer, software development, cand.polit. or similar
- Have substantial experience within the financial sector preferably by working in an AML-function or a core banking department
- Are a specialist with an understanding of implementing domain into the business
- Know demands to a TM solution
- Have experience with processes and design (BPM)
- Have a compliance and risk-based approach to the TM domain
- Have been working with conceptualizing the area in a strategic/tactical perspective
- Have experience with implementing TM solutions and segmentation of customers in an AML perspective
- Have experience with data analyzing and identification of patterns in the data
- Have experience with building models/scenarios to mitigating of money laundering and terror financing
- Have experience with optimizing of models/scenarios according to parameter and threshold setting
