Head a global support organisation

As Director of the Global IT Support Centre, you will be leading managers in 5 teams consisting of app. 140 employees across the globe. The teams cover two service desks, event management, incident management including major incident management and problem management and transformation management.

You will work closely with the rest of the DSV Panalpina Global IT organisation to ensure that services delivered are according to the agreement and that priorities are aligned with the current focus in the business. You will collaborate with colleagues from all over the world in improving the service to the end-users.

Set the direction for continuously improved operations

With a constant focus on leading and developing your organisation, you ensure that services are continuously improved and that we continue the journey of centralising support in Global IT Support Centre by performing shift left from IT Operations and other functions within IT.

Additionally, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Bring IT to the next level by increasing the focus on incidents and service requests across Global IT
  • Add additional value by keeping services up to date to benefit from having a large support function available 24/7

You will be based at DSV Panalpina HQ in Hedehusene. Travel activity is to be expected as most of your employees are located in Poland and the Philippines.

Experienced leader with a proactive mindset

As a strong communicator and relationship builder, you easily engage and align with stakeholders to ensure high-quality services that fit business needs. With your solid IT operations experience and ambitious approach, you are able to drive the continuous improvement of our services to the business.

The transport industry is always in motion, and you must, therefore, work well in a changing environment, be able to work focused and structured with complex issues.

Furthermore, we emphasise that you:

  • have line management experience from a Service Desk
  • have solid experience with organisational transformation
  • have knowledge of or are certified in ITIL
  • speak and write Danish and English fluently.
