You fight financial crime by delivering great it-solutions to our customers

You will be a part of one of the highest priorities in BEC, the Financial Crime Program. The program shall deliver IT solutions for the future. IT solutions, which will support our customers fight against financial crime (AML & fraud).

If you wish to work in an area with high attention, then this strategic focus area in BEC is the place where we, in the next couple of years, will be working with some exciting challenges. As a scrum master, you will be responsible for making sure that the team is following processes and standards for good practice according to scrum in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), where you will have attention towards value creation. In your day-to-day tasks, you will coordinate and administrate and have close cooperation with the team, the product owner and the Release Train Engineer of the ART (Agile Release Train). You contribute to facilitations of ceremonies and removal of impediment, so the team can deliver effectively.

Your tasks will, among others, be to:

  • Prepare and facilitate the agile ceremonies of the team
  • Coordinate with other teams when necessary and remove obstacles for the team
  • Cooperate with the department manager regarding the individual development of the team members
  • Improve team performance and maturity
  • Protect the team from interruptions coming from outside of the team
  • Coach the team in the agile way of working

Your profile

We imagine that you are a strong facilitator who thrives on being in front and deliver results. Your way of leading creates job satisfaction and engagement in the team. You are motivated for delivering structure, overview, and progress in the team's delivery. Your drive, your analytical skills, and your ambitions make it easy for you to initiate necessary steps if anything interrupts the work of the team. On a busy day, you hold on to the principles and values the work of the team is established upon.

We expect that you:

  • Hold a relevant master's degree or equivalent working experience
  • Are an experienced scrum master
  • Hold a certificate or are experienced within agile and lean methods (scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
  • Are experienced with servant leadership
  • Have experience within financial IT or business
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills within English

You will be part of a department with 34 employees, and we have an excellent mix of academics and bankers. Most of us are in Roskilde, and some are in Warsaw.
