About the job
The Contract Management Office is placed in Ballerup and we are looking for a Contract Manager with experience and knowledge within IT-contracts. We are a team of 4 Contract Managers. Together we are responsible for Contract Management, in terms of contracts and customers, from tender to finalization with all kind of IT delivery.
You will work very independently, and it is important that you thrive taking full responsibility for your tasks and you are also proactive in seeking information and understanding the business. In the Contract Management Team, however, we are very good at helping and supporting each other and sharing knowledge.
As a Contract Manager, your main responsibility will be to corporate closely together with major development projects and deliverables and, of course, take part in various collaboration forums with the customers.
Besides taking care of Contract Management our department also covers cross-functional assignments as developing and updating process descriptions for Contract Management in KMD. Our work is not only related to the practical part of Contract management, but also with the development of Contract Management as a discipline. You will contribute to continuously improve the efficiency and compliance level of our processes, ensuring that we are set for the future. You will play a significant role in supporting Project Managers as a specialist and partner in developing governance for projects in KMD.
Your success in this role is dependent on your cooperation and communication skills, your analytical skills and ability to quickly understand the processes and setup.
Knowledge of traditional disciplines such as negotiation, economics, and law is, of course, important in this role. Moreover, as we deal with both public and private customers, knowledge of contract law, GDPR, IPR and knowledge of public procurement law will also be a clear advantage.
We are looking for an ambitious candidate who holds a relevant master’s degree Cand.merc.jur., Cand. Jur or an equivalent degree from a university.
You are comfortable interacting with stakeholders at any organizational level and you have experience in working across functions. Counselling others in the project contexts comes naturally to you, and you use your energy and understanding of other people to timely involve the right competencies in the right processes and carry projects through with success.
You have a good combination of sharp legal and business skills that you master to communicate your colleagues in the projects.
It is also important to have a high level of drive, initiative, and persistence and being result-oriented. In addition, you are ambitious and like to be challenged. You are analytical, structured and comfortable with communicating relevant contract provisions to project members.
