UX/UI Designer with Development Skills

Are you passionate about developing customer centric software solutions for the retail industry? Then you should take the opportunity to join our team of highly skilled and dedicated developers that work on our new cloud Point-Of-Sales solution sold all over Europe.
You will have a key role in the team of and work closely with our Product Owner to deliver user-friendly feature designs. The team consists of +10 highly skilled and dedicated developers spread across England, Iceland, Holland and Denmark in +5 offices. You will be responsible for ensuring that we build the product such that it supports the user’s daily processes, it is intuitive and easy to use and fit-for-purpose. Working alongside the Product Owner you will design the user processes and flows, as well as the product interfaces. The team works in an agile fashion with daily stand-ups, Jira Kanban boards. We focus on delivering a user-friendly, fit-for-purpose, stable, scalable and high performing system.
Are you our new colleague?
You have good experience with UX design best practices and prototyping, and you’re motivated by building products that the end users love. You understand that done is better than perfect, and that no feature creates value before it’s delivered. You are motivated by not only defining the product interfaces, but also participating in developing the UI’s. We expect that you have some working experience, where you have proven your ability to work as a team member and design user-friendly, intuitive solutions, preferably in an agile setup. Experience within the retail industry, doing mock-ups, user-centred design and hands on experience with UI development is considered a plus. You have an educational background within computer science or similar. We value pragmatism, integrity and team spirit.
