Financial Spe­ci­a­list with strong IT skills

 

We are looking for a talented Financial Specialist with strong IT skills to join our Finance team; Group Reporting & Controlling - if that sounds like something you would like to be a part of, then read on.

The job

In our Finance department, we have high ambitions. We want to support FOSS subsidiaries around the world in the most professional way.

Our Finance team consists of specialists and controllers, we are ambitious in our delivery of accurate, reliable, and relevant financial data. Our key focus is to support and establish reliable financial systems that will support FOSS business.

You will be the link between IT in our Service Centre in Warsaw and our Finance functions in our subsidiaries and Group Finance in Denmark. As Financial Specialist you will be responsible for identifying best practices, ensuring compliance, and coordinating financial changes to our SAP solution. Furthermore, you will be participating in our ongoing SalesForce implementation.

Primary tasks

As Financial Specialist, you will be responsible for

  • coordinating SAP requests, enhancements and projects within Finance
  • training and supporting new users as well as existing users in SAP FI/CO across the FOSS Group
  • documentation and ensuring compliance in SAP FI/CO in the Group

You will be supporting the implementation of our new CRM system SalesForce as well as supporting our authorization set up in SAP.

You will be supporting our BI specialist in maintaining and developing our Business Intelligence solution in QlikView and QlikSense and you will be involved in optimization projects within Finance. 

Qualifications

You come from an international company with 3-8 years of experience in either Finance departments or IT departments preferably a combination of those. You are highly skilled in SAP FI/CO and have knowledge and interest in understanding how the system works. You are interested in and perhaps you have some experience with Business Intelligence systems such as QlikView or Power BI.

The preferred candidate comes with a master’s degree in finance or IT.

Personal skills

You have strong communication skills and are used to translating IT language to Financial language and collaborate with many different people in an international organization. 

You are used to documenting your changes to systems and prepare training material that can be used globally.  

To be successful in this role, you need talent for working in teams and for building relationships with many different people and cultures. You are very structured and able to manage many projects at the same time. You are result-oriented, business-focused and persistent on exploring data to get factual insights to create better results.

People describe you as self-driven, proactive, and solution-oriented person, who is not afraid to nudge, push, and challenge behavior with colleagues and stakeholders to improve on work-processes and deliverables.

Since FOSS is a global organization, it is a prerequisite that you have good English skills. It is a plus if you speak and understand Danish.

You will be a part of our team Group Reporting & Controlling that consists of three business controllers supporting our Sales & Service subsidiaries around the world, a business intelligence specialist taking care of our QlikView and QlikSense environment and two controllers handling our price updates and group consolidation.
