Junior Workplace Engineer

We are looking for a Workplace Engineer to expand our Windows Workplace Team in Roskilde. The position is limited to November 30th 2021.
The workplace area consists of more than 50 skilled colleagues. The area is responsible for Windows 10, Office 365, and our workplace management tool, Ivanti. The candidate will be placed in our Development and Architecture Workplace Team.
The team is responsible for improving and developing new solutions for our current 9,000 financial desktop users. We are developing workplace solutions for both virtual and physical workstations.
Our current project is to enable cloud features from Microsoft in order to maintain a modern, competitive, and safe workplace.
The candidate will be trained by our architects and developers. From the very start, the candidate will be part of the team as well as the upcoming solutions.
You will be working with modern technologies and applications such as Windows 10, OneDrive, Teams, and Citrix. We use the Ivanti Suite to orchestrate and manage the entire workplace solution.
Primary tasks and responsibilities
In the position as a Workplace Engineer, you will work closely with project managers, the business, our test managers, and 2nd level support. Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:
- optimizing the Win10 performance in our environment
- adapting new technologies
- implementing new applications and hardware
- 3rd level trouble shooting
- dialogue with key stakeholders
- inputs to the roadmap

You might have just graduated in AP Degree in Computer Science (datamatiker), or you might be a 2nd level supporter with more than 5 years of experience.
