In our Service business unit, we are looking for an experienced Business Architect to join our dynamic and engaged Operational Excellence (OE) department, which is part of Global Operations.

How to contribute to our vision

You will join the Operations Systems (OPSSYS) team, which is responsible for defining, developing and rolling out the global IT landscape of Service Operations. You will directly report to the head of OPSSYS, as well as to the corresponding Business Partner under CFO. Your primary responsibility will be to define IT strategies for Service Operations, contributes to the overall IT mission and strategy from the perspective of the business and assume therein the overall responsibility of the corresponding IT value chain.

More specifically your key tasks will include but not be limited to:

  • Developing a business architecture strategy based on a situational awareness of various business scenarios, business objectives and needs.
  • Governing the development and implementation of IT strategies, providing leadership in a defined expertise-oriented area of responsibility.
  • Respond to the demand and user engagement requirements from the Business Partners and assume global responsibility for the implementation and operation of IT solutions and services in your respective areas of responsibility.
  • Take the final decision on areas of responsibility related budgets and decides upon resource allocation.
  • Initiate and oversee the continuous development of allocated IT business responsibility.
  • Takes care of effective risk management measures within the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Act as personal advisor to respective Executives, in all IT related issues.

You may also liaise with public and private stakeholders in Service.

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. In order for you to succeed in this position, you should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant IT experience, ideally from the wind or service industry. Experience of project management or consulting is a must. You need strong finance skills, including budgets and business cases elaboration experience - preferably with MBA. In addition, you will need:

  • Strong English proficiency - orally and written.
  • Business Intelligence knowledge - preferably skilled with Power BI
  • Advanced user level in MS Office applications

As a person, you constantly strive to improve and are driven by a desire to continuously create results and innovative solutions.

You have a systematic way of working and can demonstrate extensive results with stakeholder management, possibly acquired through your time as a project manager. You can prioritize your work and are able to work under pressure and manage many tasks and activities at the same time. Furthermore, you like to create consensus while also being able to make decisions.
