You are the first part of our data production
At Systematic, we are busy building tomorrow’s business intelligence platform. We have come a long way, and we are now looking for a Business Intelligence Consultant who is passionate about making Systematic’s decisions data-driven through good data storytelling. In your role as a BI Consultant, you will be responsible together with the team for our overall data production as well as data integration and modelling. You will work towards more active and fact-driven data application to enable informed decision-making in Systematic. The objective is to ensure transparency in our data and a single source of truth, which we can use to create a high degree of automation in our reporting. We work across the organisation, and as part of your daily activities you will collaborate with our Business Process Improvement department as well as key employees in our internal IT department.
Some of the tasks you will be doing:
- Creating good business-supporting reports according to storytelling principles and best visualisation practices
- Continue to develop and stabilise our Azure PaaS-based data warehouse
- Migrating the existing reporting universe to PowerBI Premium
- Helping to support Systematic’s ongoing ERP replacement
- Data management and quality
- DWH automation

You will be based at our office in Aarhus, where you will become part of a strong culture characterised by freedom with responsibility. You will be part of a team of four employees who are all driven by the idea of putting BI on the agenda in an organizational context. You will be joining Systematic at a unique time of continued growth, and you will therefore be helping to shape Systematic through your experience at the same time as helping to build a complete data warehouse set-up end-to-end.
Developing yourself and the company professionally
Ideally, you have at least three years of experience within Microsoft BI stack and Microsoft BI PaaS Services – you have full-stack expertise and special skills within storytelling and good visualisation practice. In addition, you hold a relevant Bachelor or Master degree within IT, finance or a similar field. Most importantly, however, your experience and educational background should provide you with a solid understanding of the task, you are self-reliant, and you take a structured approach to your work.
You hold one or more Microsoft certifications within MSSQL and Microsoft BI stack, and have broad end-to-end experience with insights into the BI value chain. You are able to understand the business and its needs, and bring together IT, business sense and processes into a single coherent deliverable. In your work, your focus is on data quality and integrity, and you know about agile development methods. As a person you are a team player who thrives when working in close cooperation with your team as well as colleagues across the organisation. You assume responsibility for your own learning and development while at the same time focusing on the task.
In addition, you preferably have experience with:
- Information management
- SSIS, SSAS, stored procedures
- Azure Data Factory
- Automation frameworks
- Integration interfaces
- One or more development tools such as Visual Studio, Tabular Editor, Management Studio, DAX Editor or Azure DevOps
- Coding languages such as C#, PowerShell, Python/RMachine Learning
Last but not least, you speak and write Danish fluently and English at an advanced level.
