How to contribute to our vision

To strengthen our innovative position within energy optimization, we are looking for a System Architect for the System Integration team located in Brande,  responsible for the SW test strategy, the enforcement of it, and the creation and maintenance of build- and test environments in which automated tests are executed.

We are responsible for the definition, implementation and operation of all Solution level tests. This involves both HIL setups and small to large virtual environments, thus handling both the hard real-time and large scalability requirements. We operate 2 data centers and 2 test labs.

The introduction of Continuous Delivery is a strategic goal of the company; our team has been given the responsibility of introducing it.

As part of the architect team you will process new product requirements in an agile manner, deriving requirements for the test environments. As a team you will drive the architectural runway at our level, furthermore you will align and influence the architectural runway at enterprise level.  You will have close contact to the Team Architects below and the Enterprise Architects above.

Your tasks will include

  • Specifying new test sites and infrastructure
  • Leading the constant improvement process of reducing our operational effort and cost.
  • Driving the creation of a new Continuous Integration environment for the individual project team, including full automated build, unit-test, static code analysis etc.
  • Driving the CI lead-time down by optimizing the build chain introducing massive parallel computing. You will do this in close corporation with the product architects and our DevOps specialist.
  • Ensuring the operational side of our HW and VMware test infrastructure and environment.

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.  We are looking for you, who wants to make real what matters and who wants to change to world to renewable energy.

The ideal candidate holds an academic degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Science or similar, but your passion for Continuous Delivery is most important.

Further, we expect you to have a proven record with

  • Working in an agile CI/CD environment (SAFe)
  • Data center architecture and design experience
  • Understanding complex systems and problems, find the optimum solution and communicate it to your teammates.
  • You have very strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (especially VMware)
  • You have advanced operational knowledge of IP networks especially CISCO products (CCNP level)
  • You take pride in ensuring a production environment while constantly extending and improving it.

You have a high professional competency and you have a desire to develop your skills. You have good collaboration skills and you can manage to act in different cultural contexts.
