How to contribute to our vision
For our Security Operations Center within the Service business unit, we are looking for a skilled and dedicated SOC Analyst in Brande for analyzing events and logs from wind farms and the OT environment. The OT SOC team is manned 24/7 all year round, and you will be part of a fixed work-schedule divided into rotations of 6 weeks, including a 19 days period with no planned shifts.
The 6 weeks rotations are divided into: 1 week working day-shift, 1 week working evening-shift, 1 week working night-shifts and a 19 days period with no planned shifts.
You will be part of a strong, dedicated, and diverse team, who are specialists in a wide scope of tasks related to Cybersecurity within the Operational Technology (OT) domain in the service segment of Siemens Gamesa such as Incident Handing, Threat Intelligence and SIEM monitoring, all related to our Customers assets in the windfarms we are servicing all over the world.
An important part of this role is responding to Cybersecurity incidents in the OT environment on our customers windfarms. You will be analyzing events and logs from the windfarms in our SIEM systems. You will be using threat intelligence to analyze possible threats, and manage vulnerabilities impacting our customers fleet. You will be monitoring and maintaining endpoint protection and other Cybersecurity systems, and you will be part of a continues development of the OT SOC team, just like you will support the business in developing new Cybersecurity.
What you need to make a difference

The ideal candidate holds an academic degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science or similar and holds at least one relevant Cybersecurity certification – e.g. SANS, CCNA Security, CISSP, etc. in combination with thorough practical experience with
- Threat intelligence, incident handling and SIEM monitoring
- Managing complex network infrastructure and architecture
- Managing security of Operational Technologies (OT) and understanding SCADA systems
- Working in a SOC 24/7 team
You must be able to understand cyber threats and respond accordingly. You are used to handle and maintain relationships with internal- and external stakeholders and in general capable of operating in a multicultural environment and know how to communication on all levels of technical understanding.
You have a high professional competency and you have a desire to develop your skills. You have good collaboration skills and you can manage to act in different cultural contexts. To thrive in this position, you must have a strong result- and customer-oriented approach.
