How to contribute to our vision
For our Operational Technologies (OT) Security Operations Center (SOC) within the Service business unit, we are looking for a skilled and dedicated Security Officer in Brande for managing security on customer-facing equipment in our central datacenter.
You will be part of a strong, dedicated, and diverse team, who are specialists in a wide scope of tasks related to Cybersecurity within the Operational Technology (OT) domain in the service segment of Siemens Gamesa such as Incident Handling, Threat Intelligence and SIEM monitoring, all related to our Customers assets in the windfarms we are servicing all over the world. The team is supporting the OT component owners out in the business, our service regions around the world and other central OT Cybersecurity functions such as OT SOC 24/7 and GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance).
An important part of this role is bringing a security focus on the customer-facing equipment placed in our central datacenter. In this role, you will be the link between the component owners in the business using the equipment, our IT organization operating the central datacenter and our OT Cybersecurity organization, where you are applying your security perspective together with a deep understanding of complex datacenter infrastructure and how it relates to our business. With your ability to apply your analytical skills you will be able to understand the complex challenges and solve them with a global team of experts.
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense of the importance to lead the change. We have high ambitions for continuously improving our performance in the area of Cybersecurity, and are therefore looking for a motivated, experienced candidate to drive this agenda towards the best technologies and knowledge into the future of onshore renewable wind energy.
The ideal candidate holds an M.Sc. in Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, Computer Science or similar and holds at least one relevant Cybersecurity certification – e.g. SANS, CCNA Security, CISSP, etc. in combination with thorough practical experience with
- Managing complex enterprise IT environments and VLAN environments
- Configuring security equipment and the implementation of security policies for the equipment
- Routing, switching and configuration of firewalls
Most importantly, you are a dedicated team–player with strong communication and collaboration skills, who can see the bigger picture and make decisions independently. You have a personal drive and a curious mindset, and you work structured and result-oriented while maintaining the ability to focus on the business and the customer’s needs. You have high professional competency and you have a desire to develop your skills. To thrive in this position, you must have a strong result- and customer-oriented approach.
