Do you want to be part of a fast-growing tech company specializing in the dissemination of academic research? (We are aware - it’s a rather dry subject but do not despair!) The level of detail and complexity of our platform makes it interesting, sometimes infuriating, but for the most part, it poses an exhilarating challenge! Our mission is to streamline data, simplify communication flows, and thereby revolutionize the field.
We’re hiring for a full-time, in-office position at our temporary location in Albertslund as we’re preparing to move much closer to Copenhagen. Until then, we do have bathing facilities on the premises if you’re up for getting a cycling tan over the summer.
We fit the classic start-up stereotype with all that it entails – a young environment, flat organizational structure, foosball table, enormous flexibility, ups and downs, but most importantly; we learn and evolve.
Founded in 2017, ChronosHub deals with the complex space of research funding and output tracking. The ecosystem is highly fragmented and, in many ways, an old system. ChronosHub was designed to challenge the current state and bring new tools to life, simplifying the process for everyone involved.
We bring the stakeholders together. Through a collaborative approach the complexities can be managed, and the processes automated and streamlined. Instead of having thousands of institutions dealing with thousands of publishers, everyone only needs to deal with one party - ChronosHub.
Our clients are international organizations, so we operate with a global outlook. Amongst our clients are University of Copenhagen, Emerald Publishing, the National Library and Research Fund of Luxembourg, and Karger Publishers.
As a backend developer, you will be working on developing new features and ensure the scalability and the automation of the systems as well as supporting our clients. In cooperation with the rest of the team, you will refine, estimate, develop, test and document the features that we develop to our customers. You deliver high quality testable code and drive to keep improving working methods, practices, and processes. At ChronosHub, you have the opportunity to define your own role as you follow your projects all the way form code to production.
- Several years of experience with web development
- Experience with .NET and .NET Core web development
- Experience in developing SQL Server based .NET applications
The following is an advantage, but not a requirement:
- Experience with REST API development and system integrations
- Knowledge of cloud solutions, e.g., Azure DevOps, AWS.
- Knowledge about Containers: Docker/Kubernetes (Microservice Architecture)
We value raw, natural talent much more than having the 'right' degree - in other words, don't be discouraged to apply for this position just because you don't hold a degree.
Do you see yourself in this position? If so, you’re obviously good at your job, so we know you have plenty of choices about where to work. Besides the great colleagues, fun environment, and exciting everyday challenges, we offer private health insurance, pension plan, lunch arrangement, 24/7 snack bar, and social events.
Please send us your resume and cover letter to email@example.com today and let us know why we shouldn't miss the opportunity to meet you.
If you have any questions about the job, please feel free to reach out. You can also read more about us at Chronoshub.io/careers
