How to contribute to our vision
For our Digital Foundation & Infrastructure team within the Software Solutions department, we are looking for a skilled and dedicated a Solution Architect with an excellent knowledge of modern technologies to define, design and implement a modern edge infrastructure for wind farms globally. You have a broad knowledge about classic IT infrastructure based on VMware, Windows, Linux and Cisco networking to be able to comprehend the current environment and envision how it seamlessly can be transformed into a future low maintenance, highly scalable and state-of-the-art secure edge computing environment.
The job responsibility evolves around defining, designing, building and implementing DevOps solutions to ensure smooth IT operations. As Solution Architect, you will be managing our Cybersecurity system designs. Your primary tasks are to design new solutions in close collaboration with our Solution Managers and Enterprise Architects, to find the best possible support processes and architecture for our digital solutions.
You will be responsible, together with your skilled colleagues in your team, to define and design the lower part of the stack, including hardware and OS for cloud native applications. You will work closely with a team of highly skilled networking engineers to introduce new network solutions.
You will, together with colleagues in your team, have the responsibility to define test plans and test cases, cooperate with System Integration to build automated test environments, so that not only the applications layer, but the whole stack is tested as a complete system for every release as a part of SGREs continuous integration workflow.
What you need to make a difference

The ideal candidate holds an academic degree within Computer Science, IT, SW Engineering or similar in combination with 3+ years of experience with IT architecture and thorough practical experience with:
- Designing and implementing secure SCADA systems/infrastructures
- Automatic deployment of new solutions in a DevOps environment
- Combining software solution design and the underlying infrastructure to support it
- Define test plans and test cases carried out in automated test environments.
Most importantly, you understand how to design secure solutions on both software and infrastructure level, and can communicate needs between corporate and technical staff. You have a high professional competency and you have a desire to develop your skills. You have good collaboration skills and you can manage to act in different cultural contexts. To thrive in this position, you must have a strong result- and customer-oriented approach.
