SAP BI/BW Graduate

Are you ready to make your mark on the digitalization of the future? Have you recently graduated or are you about to graduate with a master’s degree?

Our world is IT and technology, and we love it! If you share the same passion, then KMD might be the place to kickstart your career. Join our Graduate Program in the beginning of September 2021.

The KMD graduate program

As a graduate in KMD, you hold a business-critical position throughout the program. There will be an additional focus on your development through planning of your tasks, participation in a network where you get to work on real life cases, and individual planning of your training. You are exposed to real life IT- and business problems, and you work hands-on to create solutions, solve issues and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, both internally and externally.

The 18-month long graduate program offers an excellent opportunity to move out of your comfort zone and fast-track your personal and professional development. You will be part of an engaged graduate community where we have fun, and where you get a great opportunity to network with your peers.

All graduates will be given a mentor and assigned a buddy, who will support their development, introduce them to the KMD culture and ensure that they get the necessary training and introduction to the department.

In this position

Data is probably the most valuable commodity of the digital age. When developed and used in the right way, data can be used to support key business decisions and ultimately support a company in gaining a competitive advantage in the marketplace. But data is like land. It must be developed to be useful and valuable, and this is why need Business Intelligence to support the structured extraction, transformation and presentation of data turned into insights.

In KMD our customers are also aware of the increasing value of data, and we aim to support them in making the right decisions at the right time. As an SAP BI/BW Graduate you will be at the forefront of transforming data into value and enabling our customers to optimize their business decisions. You will have the opportunity to work for various customers, which comprise both the private and public sector, as we have a wide portfolio of SAP customers in KMD.

You will get acquainted to – and work with – state-of-the-art BI technologies, mainly based on the SAP Business Intelligence suite (BI) and SAP Business Warehouse (BW) as the central elements. You will also gradually be involved in cloud-based projects as SAP invests heavily in cloud technologies.

Your daily work will comprise the whole BI process, from defining customer requirements, to developing data flows and data models, and delivering the agreed upon reporting solution to the customer.

In this process you will likely be introduced to multiple programming languages e.g., SAP ABAP, Transactional SQL, Python or JavaScript. It will be an advantage if you are familiar with one or more of these languages, but it is not a prerequisite, as you will receive training accordingly.

Your daily work will be performed as part of a project team, led by a project manager - typically using agile principles. This allows your work to fit seamlessly with your general training as a graduate.

The team

You will become part of the combined cross technology team SAP BI, Integration and Platform where colleagues are working as consultants within different SAP technologies such as SAP Integration, SAP BI/BW, or SAP Authorization & Security. We have a flexible way of working and we help each other in the daily work.

As an SAP BI/BW graduate you will be working together with some of the best SAP consultants in Denmark with whom you can achieve deep learning on your way to becoming one of them. We believe that the most valuable professional and personal development happens when you participate in ongoing activities with talented and experienced colleagues.

Through more than 20 years of working with SAP, KMD has created Denmark's largest SAP house. With our unique experience, we have built a leading position in the latest SAP technologies

IT Technologies is the heart of our business and we consider our graduates essential to continually raise the bar and meet the future needs of our customers. This is where YOU enter the picture, as we consider talented consultants as a core business value needed to succeed.

Passionate Consultants who are big thinkers and diligent doers

We are looking for talented and ambitious candidates who hold a master’s degree or equivalent within Economics/Business Administration (MSc), Computer Science, Software development, Data science, IoT, or other IT-related fields.

If you are one of the candidates we are looking for, you will be able to identify with the following:

  • Passionate and curious about technology, with an aim to achieve the best solution while presenting a high level of interest, engagement, and enthusiasm
  • Have a ‘Can Do’ attitude and work to challenge status quo by generating new ideas and solutions to improve work
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Danish
  • It is a plus if you have experience within SAP, Business Intelligence in general or any of the related programming languages (ABAP, SQL, Python, Java/JavaScript etc.).
  • It is also a plus if you have worked with Business Intelligence or related fields, while you took your master’s degree or while writing your thesis.
