The OPUS ERP Business Unit provides ERP-solutions to the Danish municipalities within finance, budgeting, payments, procurement, and project & resource management. We are around 200 dedicated employees working out of Denmark, Poland, and India. To support us we also have long-term outsourcing partners. We have a close partnership with SAP SE both on the S/4HANA migration and on digitalization of public sector in general. Our solutions which are primarily built on SAP are market leading and are constantly developed to expand the digitalization and efficiency of the Danish public sector. OPUS ERP solutions are the backbone of the public administration in 70 Danish municipalities with close to 200.000 users making it one of the largest SAP installations in the world.

Our Business Unit has a full stack responsibility. We conduct business strategy, sales, development, maintenance, support, and implementation. Operation is handled by our outsourcing partner in close collaboration with our DevOps-team. Hence, our employees span across this spectrum including product managers, enterprise architects, business specialists, product owners, SAP solution- and basis architect and SAP developers.    

About the job

Reporting to the Tech Director you will be part of our BU management team and taking responsibility for our SAP S/4HANA program. We use an agile methodology which means that you will interact with several feature teams across our business lines and our basis- and tech-teams. You will work closely with stakeholders throughout our organization to identify tangible benefits and opportunities in the transformation e.g., fit to standard processes. In parallel you will also engage in activities with the Tech team e.g., on custom code reengineering and migration when no tangible benefits are present in S/4HANA. Finally, you will work closely with our platform team and outsourcing partners on establishing the new S/4HANA landscape.

The OPUS ERP solutions is built on an extensive IT landscape including many SAP elements (ECC, BW, Enterprise Portal, PO, BTP). The main objective of the S/4HANA program is to move the ERP system from ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4HANA and the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). 

The role is based at KMD in Aalborg, however for the right candidate location can be our other offices in Denmark.

About you

You have experience with leading large SAP programs in a complex IT landscape, and a complex organization. You are excellent in working through internal and external stakeholders and delivery teams cross functions and cultures and you ensure that deliveries are met through collaboration and facilitation. As a leader and facilitator, you know when to go into detail and drive activities and when to let the teams work undisturbed. You have good experience and expertise with SAP Activate and SAP's other methods and tool regarding Move to S/4. You will be communicating broadly across KMD to a wide variety of recipients. Hence, you can easily translate technical issues into a business context.

Your tasks include facilitation and execution of:

  • Program & vendor management 
  • Solution design and Fit-to-Standard opportunities 
  • Solution implementation 
  • BTP assessment/implementation (e.g., Fiori Launchpad)
  • Custom code migration
  • Data migration strategy
  • Future IT landscape and operation strategy
