Senior Process Analyst - Help build a brand new function in large IT set-up

We are building a brand new Process Management team

Within our large IT Organisation, Process & Master Data Governance, you will find your new team, Process Management. As of now, we are 3 IT process experts responsible for all global IT processes across DSV, and we expect to grow and continue to build the team.

We are embarking on a journey to transition, implement and operate with an increasingly scalable ITSM solution with an enterprise approach as the guiding principle. This requires a re-implementation of ITSM tool which will be accompanied with full process redesign. The journey requires a strong strategic approach to process improvement where your insights and analytic approach are necessary and valued. 

As this is a new function within DSV, we are still defining our path and ways of working. It gives us a great sense of entrepreneurial spirit, and we are excited to have you onboard to hear your ideas on how to move forward.

Analyse and implement global IT processes and best practices

Based in Hedehusene, you will be an internal consultant, taking charge of your own internal projects and stakeholders. This entails analysing and implementing global processes based on best practices and industry standards together with our colleagues from various teams across the Global IT Organisation. 

Projects may involve analysing standard IT service processes or roles and responsibilities. This also sees you acting as ambassador for the defined methodology and framework. 

As we are shortly commencing our journey of implementing of a scalable ITSM, this is a unique opportunity timing-wise of joining in the scoping phase and making your mark on our future enterprise-focused processes. 

As a part of the new team, you will work in a global service function and ensure we reach our ambition of becoming leaner and more global and professionalised in our ways of working – both internally in the team and in Global IT. Your workday will also consist of:

  • Processing requests for process optimisation support
  • Driving workshops and collecting requirements for process analysis and creation
  • Analysing current ways of working, crunching data and implementing new processes
  • Mapping processes to ensure transparency and sponsorship
  • Creating management presentations and carrying our management reporting

Solid experience from a technical process organisation

We are looking for a great colleague who is entrepreneurial and thrives on shaping processes as the organisation develops. While taking an analytical approach to the ways we work, you also have to be outgoing to collaborate closely with your colleagues and create engagement around our new function. 

It is also important that you can plan your own workday and projects to deliver on time – even when working on multiple initiatives. Moreover, you:

  • Have a master’s degree within engineering, computer science or similar
  • Have several years of experience with e.g., lean optimisation from another technical process organisation allowing you to see a task from all angles Or be a top of Class Junior profile
  • Have experience with – or are certified within – ITIL or similar industry methodologies
  • Possess strong visual presentation skills, e.g., in PowerPoint to present your analyses and findings
  • Communicate effortlessly in English
