We’re saving multiple meals every second with our 1.5+ million daily users, more than 42 million registered, and more than a hundred thousand food retailers and restaurants! So far we’ve saved more than 93 million meals from going to the bin, all across Europe and the US, in 17 countries to date. 

The Mission

We are looking to hire a committed Analytics Engineer to develop our data logic, transformations and help to deliver a strong foundation on our data.

At Too Good To Go, we work with huge amounts of diverse data, so with that in mind, we are looking for someone who can work with the team to bridge the gap between Data Engineering and Analytics. Our data stack consists of tools such as Airbyte, Airflow, AWS Redshift, dbt, and we use 'Looker' as our BI & Analytics platform, which is used throughout the business to utilise the data insights. 

We imagine that you’ve worked as an Analytic Engineer before, and are keen to ensure to build further on your experience in a high growth global company. 

The Role 

  • Own our data, clean and transform it ready for analysis and present it in a performant way
  • Provide and maintain documentation and definitions of data for our analysts
  • Ensure  we follow software engineering best practices on data (version control, testing, CI/CD)
  • Consult our Analytics team to ensure best practices on the technical usage of our data
  • Working with the wider team to build and maintain our data warehouse (SQL), which is used for our data transformation layer.
  • Build the semantic layers to support business dashboards and scheduled reporting (using SQL/dbt)
  • Work with data analysts and business stakeholders to determine requirements and build reliable data models.


  • 2 years of experience within a similar role perhaps has a Analytics Engineer or Data Warehouse Developer
  • 3 Year + of experience using SQL
  • Experience using Python
  • Experience with dbt, Redshift and Airflow is a plus
  • Sound knowledge of data modelling and transformations.

  • Full professional proficiency in English, proficiency in further languages is an advantage
  • Holds a  Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) within a technical field (i.e. Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent)
  • Technical curiosity, we want you to be comfortable asking questions - we encourage a mindset to ‘dig deeper’.
  • Ability to persevere in what can be a challenging space.
  • Passionate about our mission, with a driving force to use your skill towards a good cause.
