Either way, you will be a welcome addition to our dedicated – and very social – development team, where you and your colleagues will share a very varied workday. Welcome to our ITSM Development team

Your new team – ITSM Development – is based at the DSV HQ in Hedehusene and responsible for our Cherwell ITSM application. We are an international development team, currently consisting of 5 developers, 1 requirement analyst and 1 operational delivery manager. 

Our team work together across locations in Denmark, Portugal, and Poland to ensure that our Service Desk has the best possible service management tool available. And though we work in separate locations, you will quickly find that within the team, we know each other well and work very closely together, sharing a heartfelt team spirit.

Develop new functionalities in our ITSM tool

As the latest edition to our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing new functionalities to our existing ITSM tool, and you will assist with its maintenance.

Stepping into a dynamic and agile work environment, you will be working in sprints as you tackle different development tasks. You will also partake in incident-driven problem-solving and play a hand in the creation of problem-solving procedures. Moreover, you can look forward to: 

  • Assisting with root cause analysis
  • Helping create technical documentation
  • Taking part in performance optimisation
  • Assisting in ITSM extension projects
  • Having meetings with our users to understand needs, products, and services 
  • Creating detailed technical requirements including workflows and forms – and working with users to ensure these reflect their needs

In addition, we are embarking on a journey to transition, implement and operate with an increasingly scalable ITSM solution with an enterprise approach as the guiding principle. You will therefore assist in the re-implementation of our ITSM tool, which will be accompanied by a full process redesign. 

Facilitator with solid analytical skills and experience with ITSM

As you will be interacting with colleagues and users of our ITSM system, you will need to have solid stakeholder management skills and be a skilled communicator. You are comfortable reaching out to colleagues within the team as well as users, asking questions and seeking knowledge. And then of course, you bring with you your good mood, which will help you fit right into our social team.

Also, we imagine that you have:

  • Experience working with ITSM tools, such as BMC Remedy, Service Now and/or Cherwell/Ivanti ITSM and have experience with implementing ITIL processes
  • Experience documenting ITSM requirements according to ITIL processes
  • Knowledge and experience with Scrum and Kanban boards, Jira and Confluence 
  • Highly developed English skills, in both speech and writing
  • Know your way around MS SQL and Oracle
  • Basic to intermediate programming skills such as Java, .NET, or other scripts languages
