Lead Project Manager, member of the ma­na­ge­ment team

You will be responsible for implementing complex IT solutions and business processes. You will have a crucial role in setting our direction as part of the management team.

Portfolio responsible and Project Management

You will be part of the management team and take lead of the implementation of the full portfolio of digital solution projects for 24/7 operations in our Coordination Center. You will get the opportunity to establish the Nordic RSC project management function in a cross functional collaboration with business experts, data management, IT architects and our external solution supplier.

You will be responsible for:

  • Management, planning and execution of key IT projects of varying size eg. new digital business solutions
  • Establishment of the IT project implementation function, as well as overseeing personal project delivery
  • Implementation of project delivery models and portfolio designs
  • Further development and optimization of existing solutions already in operation

You will be part of developing your own role in a company in continuous development and supporting your colleagues with great project management skills.

Proven results from implementation of complex digital solutions

You have a relevant academic background and proven experience as project manager of complex IT projects, for instance spanning business critical processes with high data security requirements.

We expect that you have solid experience within:

  • Standard project models and project management tools.
  • Stakeholder management and communication
  • You excel in project management, planning, quality, and risk management
  • You are structured and result oriented and cross-functional collaboration is part of how you work

You create a motivated project team, based on transparency and trust, and inspire colleagues through directing by example. Interacting with your project team, you ensure that expectations are clear and understood by all, while at the same time catering to the need for individual differentiation, based on cultural background, age, or other factors. You encourage the team members to express varying opinions and keep open dialogue in all situations – while at the same time being able to consolidate input and conclude discussions to ensure progress.

We expect you to be fluent in English as this is the working language in Nordic RSC.

Who is Nordic RSC

The Nordic Regional Security Coordinator (NRSC) is a joint office for the four electricity Transmission System Operators (TSOs) in the Nordic region: Energinet, Statnett, Svenska Kraftnät and Fingrid. We support the national TSOs in optimizing the efficiency and maintaining the operational security of the power systems across Finland, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark during the transition to the fully carbon neutral, sustainable energy system. Nordic RSC is a data-driven organization with 40 highly skilled and motivated colleagues, mainly power system engineers and IT professionals. As a part of our further development, Nordic RSC will be incorporated as an independent company from July 2022.
