CCC Cloud Architect

We are looking for a Cloud Architect, whose role will be to gather and understand the business requirements and work with the customer to design and deliver end2end solutions that address the customer’s needs.

You’ll be a part of a new team - KMD Cloud Competence Center (CCC) – a delivery & development unit providing hybrid cloud services to our customers. KMD CCC offers several services which involve advising customers on how to transform their workloads to the cloud & agile ways of working and how to start their cloud transformation journey.

Your work tasks will be:

  • Provide best practices and recommend technical solutions for how to implement customers microservices/applications on Container-as-a-Service (CaaS) & Cloud Native Application Platform (CNAP)
  • Be responsible for maintaining and communicating the CaaS service and its architecture and documentation
  • Develop new services relevant to CaaS and its users
  • Work as the CaaS architect on PoCs and customer projects
  • Understand, build and/or modify services and accompanying processes and procedures.
  • Map the commercial requirements and manage the associated risks, assumptions and opportunities.
  • Act as a mentor/SME and provide support to colleagues across the Service Solution Architecture team.
  • Provide input for the ongoing CCC services development of a Service Portfolio/Service Catalogue
  • Provide input to bids and tenders with input regarding CCC Service Offering

About you

We want you in our team if you have:

  • Experience as a Cloud Architect (or similar) with demonstrable experience working in public, commercial and/or industrial sectors
  • Demonstrable understanding of architecture principles and enterprise-grade service design patterns across different industries
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure build and cloud native development with focus on automation
  • Deep documented insight in both on-prem data center technology and cloud technologies
  • Experience with network & storage design
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure products
  • Experience with migrating solutions & systems from legacy technologies toward the modern stack – both form development angle & infrastructure angle
  • Experience with CI/CD, development support, Agile & SCRUM
  • Experience in working in multi-cultural organizations
  • Experience in communicating with executives and business stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent in English and Polish/Danish

We are a perfect match if you additionally have: 

  • Any industry recognized architecture qualification (e.g. TOGAF, Zachmann)
  • Any industry recognized technology certification (e.g. MCSE(Cloud), CCNP/CCNA (Cloud), RHCA, AWS Certification, etc.) – preferred in Azure
  • DevSecOps experience
  • Containers (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker) experience
  • Any coding experience – including scripting (yaml, terraform), IaC, .NET, .NET Core, Java.
  • A certification in ITIL
