Business analyst for Static & Market Data

We are looking for a business analyst ready to share and grow

You will be based in our Roskilde office, work together with Polish and Danish developers, and report to a Danish manager for the department: Static and Market Data.

The Static and Market Data integrates data providers in the financial sector, including trading venues such as Nasdaq OMX Nordic. It is an essential part to provide data to the other systems in BEC, e.g., in our Capital Market portfolio.

The position will bridge the business side and our software development. You will be required to do analysis of the business impact on our systems and formulate requirements to our developers and subsequently participate in the testing. You will also be in dialogue with our customers (banks) and support them concerning incidents and questions.

Primary tasks and responsibilities

In the position as Business Analyst, you will work closely with our member banks, vendors, and other teams in BEC. Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:  

  • Support our customers both internally and externally
  • Prepare requirement specifications
  • Analysis of impact to our systems in case of changes
  • Interpretation of law and regulations from both domestic as EU
  • Participate in test of systems

We are looking for you who love to explore and learn!

Preferably, you have an educational background at bachelor or master’s level within banking or finance and 3 years of experience from a similar position working with market data for banks.  We expect you to have knowledge of market data in the Danish investment market and vendors such as SIX, FundCollect, Nasdaq, Bloomberg and Refinitiv.

With colleagues in teams distributed in Denmark and Poland, you must master Danish and English at a high level both in writing and orally. It is an advantage with knowledge of Excel, SQL, Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
