Senior Data Engineer to Deloitte

Digital@Deloitte is Deloitte’s internal digitalization department where we “create smarter workdays for employees” both locally and globally.
We are currently seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support our global “Cloud First” strategy. We offer a position where you will have a high level of influence on how to do your job, and where you as an integral member of our team will have an active voice when we make decisions.

The team consists of approximately 30 specialists with BI and DW as part of this. A team where exchange of knowledge is a strong part of our culture, both internally, externally, and across Deloitte at a global scale.
Exciting tasks await you
We’re working with a full-stack Microsoft BI setup; our automated Kimball Data Warehouse as the foundation of our solutions, SSAS Tabular cubes on top and Power BI for reporting.
Your main role in Digital@Deloitte’s Backend and Data Platform team, will be to develop internal solutions for Deloitte by integrating and modelling new data sources in our data warehouse and by making the data available for the business. As we work at a Nordic and Global level, there will be collaboration across borders.
You can also expect to work on projects that extends beyond traditional Business Intelligence tasks, such as Process Automation and Application Development. You will do this in a close collaboration with our existing team and the rest of our technically strong colleagues in Digital@Deloitte.
In cases where our Service Desk and support team are unable to resolve issues, you will be providing 3rd level support together with the rest of our team.
You have the following skills and experience
We imagine that you have +5 years of experience within this area. You are a team player with good interpersonal skills, and you’re the go-to person when colleagues are facing technical challenges. You possess a curious and innovative mind and are comfortable with translating complex business challenges into information models.
We expect that you stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and that you master the following:
- Microsoft SQL Server & T-SQL
- SSIS development and debugging
- Data Warehouse architecture
- Dimensional modelling
It’s a plus if you have experience with one or more of the following:
- Azure DevOps
- SAP integration
- Analytics & data integration in Azure
- Microsoft On-premises data gateway
- Microsoft .Net C#
- SSAS Tabular
- Power BI
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Databricks
- Proficient in English (oral and written)
- Danish resident.
