Then you might be our new Data Management Specialist. MAN PrimeServ is seeking a driven and analytical candidate with strong data warehouse skills and a business-oriented mindset to support our aftermarket digitalization projects.

What am I going to do?

As our Data Management Specialist, you will be a part of a master data team of seven employees and six students within the department of Performance Management. Furthermore, you will get to play a vital role in driving the digitalization of the aftermarket business required for obtaining our ambitious strategic business and E-commerce targets. More specifically, you will:

  • Be programing new tools and maintenance of the existing ones.
  • Do data mining and data cleansing from external and internal sources
  • Do analyses based on Microsoft SQL Server databases (T-SQL), SSAS/OLAP
  • Automate, support and improve of existing and new processes and preferable SSIS models
  • Improve and optimize our data warehouses
  • Drive digitalization initiatives within the organization
  • Translate business demands into specific IT deliverables
  • Do ad-hoc tasks and analyses

The assignments typically concerns providing data to applications and reports, build BI tools and back-end solutions, optimizing and improve data warehouses. You will operate in close collaboration with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, such as our sales, IT and marketing department.

Who am I?

MAN PrimeServ is a part of a large organization and it is therefore an advantage if you have experience from an international environment and feel at home in an organization with different interests and stakeholders. At the same time, you have strong people skills and you understand that it takes commitment and drive to create results. We imagine that you:

  • Have a relevant master degree; e.g. Data Engineer, Computer Scientist, Business Intelligence or similar
  • Are self-driven with a proactive initiative-taking approach
  • Have a strong knowledge of SQL language and preferable SSIS, OLAP/SSAS and database operations in general
  • Have programming experience with some, and not necessarily all, of the following languages: SQL, C#, VBA, Python or R
  • Have experience with data visualization: PowerBI or similar (DAX/MDX)
  • Have experience from digitalization and/or e-commerce
  • Are skilled within MS Office, and in particular Excel and possibly PowerPivot
  • Experience with Azure or other cloud solution is a bonus
  • Have great communication skills in English

You will help develop the position, therefore other skills could be useful, and the candidate does not need to be expert in all areas.

How is my new team?

In the Data Management Team, we are responsible for develop, improve and ensuring data for the aftermarket business of MAN ES in Denmark. Common tasks are often orientated around improving database management, data cleansing, collecting data from various sources and format, master data governance. We provide data and conduct data analysis for the sales and marketing departments. Since we are part of a strategic department, we are often involved in many interesting projects across the organization. The culture in our team and department is very friendly and informal. Your workplace will be in one of the following locations: Copenhagen, Holeby or Frederikshavn depending on your own preference. You will also have the flexibility to work some days from home.
