Position Summary

In this role you will work as a Partner Success Manager in the Cloud; security & Software team in Denmark and report to the Sales Manager. You will be helping as internal co-owner with BDM for the largest accounts delivering customer satisfaction and developing new sales opportunities.

Moreover you will drive account management for defined set of mid -sized partner across the Tech Data portfolio and you will be  incentivized based on total portfolio. You will have a technical team to support you to make sure our partners receive the best service they could ever ask for. Your main responsibilities will also include driving dialogue with smaller eco-vendor and specific partner opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Have a conversation with customers around a solution/product area
  • Offers recommendations to enhance the value proposition by collecting information from the customer to understand the business requirements
  • Builds excellent customer relationships through proactive engagement
  • Generate new business opportunities by planning outbound calls to customers
  • Sell the benefits of using Tech Data and the Company value proposition
  • Identify project opportunities and engages with BDM/ISS if specific product/ vendor knowledge is required
  • Generate and own a pipeline of deals in Tech Data’s CRM system, which is regularly reviewed and updated and ensure active closure of opportunities
  • Provide accurate and timely quotations to customers
  • Ensure Tech Data maintains service levels agreements with customers
  • Proactively develop relationships with key internal and external contacts
  • Ensure CRM system is well maintained and provides correct customer information

Knowledge Skills and Experience

  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience in sales or equivalent of educational background
  • A knowledge of product set would be desirable but not essential
  • Numerate with good attention to detail
  • Excellent telephone manner & Effective Communication Skills
  • Priority management and planning skills
  • Strive to achieve set targets & Understands Sales Process
  • Good relationship building
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Ideal candidates will have previous experience of IT systems for quotation, order entry, CRM
  • A knowledge of product set would be desirable but not essential
  • IT industry knowledge would be desirable but not essential
