Technology Engineer

Are you driven by an overwhelming technical curiosity and does your childish playfulness repeatedly get you stuck in exploration of technological possibilities and digital opportunities? Then you are well on the way to be a perfect fit for one of the two open positions as Technology Engineer in LEGO House.

As a LEGO House Technology Engineer, you hold your sense of wonder at full strength and intuitively understand the criticality of the mission of the Digital & Technology department in LEGO House: Ensuring that all codes are bug free, all cords are untangled, and any device is in minimal downtime.

You are service-minded and enjoy putting an effort where and when needed, be it in 2nd level support, year planning or improving the digital experiences throughout the house. In terms of problem solving, your approach and attitude can best be described as a Technical Terrier; you just don’t stop barking up a bugged tree (woof woof) and just like your furry friend you can bark to being brave, mischievous, energetic, active, fearless, independent, playful and cheerful.

Shaping the transformation

You will be part of a new dynamic team, shaping the technological strategy for one of Denmark’s most notable attractions. You will report into the Head of Digital & Technology (a position we are currently recruiting for) and when complete the team counts 4 Tech Engineers and 2 Student Workers.

You will be responsible for:

  • Operation and optimization of existing system landscape
  • 2nd line support for LEGO House digital experiences
  • IT development, balancing technology between an existing technology stack and exploring new opportunities
  • Technical sparring and collaboration with the rest of LEGO House demonstrating eagerness to teach, learn and experiment with an agile mindset

A key for succeeding in the role is a curious mindset and willingness to learn and a natural preference to succeed through collaboration across LEGO House.

An experienced Technology Engineer with strong collaboration skills

With 2-5 years’ experience in the field, you have proven your ability to deliver world class solutions in a diverse system landscape.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has experience as system administrator
  • Knows Powershell scripting and has experience with VM Ware
  • Is C# compatible
  • Holds a degree in Information Technology or the like
