We are looking for a Database Specialist, who will take responsibility of our MSSQL 2019 databases and participate in IT Infrastructure and application related activities. Your main focus will be the daily operations of MSSQL and the Rejsekort system, however we are eager to optimize, automate and standardize, which gives you the possibility to influence the ways of working going forward. Collecting and analyzing data is a big part of the daily work for both Incident and Problem Management, and you will be a major contributor to this.

Our Database Specialist is part of the Infrastructure Operations Team, who continuously expands and develops our infrastructure to secure a stable operation of Rejsekort. The team has the overall technical responsibility for the implementation of projects, and they work to ensure the right choice of technologies and architectural design. The team is also responsible for securing a well-documented handover from project delivery to daily operations.

Your qualifications

We expect you have a solid experience in:

  • Experience in operating and maintaining MSSQL databases supporting a setup having a huge amount of transactions
  • deeper knowledge in TSQL scripting
  • MSSQL database code debugging, optimizations, deadlocks and other error analysis
  • Understanding of SSIS packages
  • System Capacity Management

In addition, it will be an advantage, if you have experience with:

  • Developing and maintaining system documentation and handover from project/development to operation
  • IT Infrastructure and SAN
  • Good understanding of .NET framework
