IT Project Manager

Do you want to play an important role in transforming how used cars are traded in the future?

We are looking for an IT Project Manager to be part of building the technology solution and gateway for European Car Trading of the future.

This role can be based at our office in Copenhagen or our Headquarter in Vejle. If based in Copenhagen, it must be expected to work from our HQ in Vejle occasionally. The first 1-2 months will be focused on onboarding and hand-over of tasks, and it’s expected for the IT Project Manager to be onsite at the HQ in Vejle 2 days per week, afterwards approximately 2-3 days per month.

It is required that you already are a permanent resident of Denmark or southern Skåne, Sweden - close to direct transport connections to Copenhagen via the Oresund Bridge.

About the role

As our new IT Project Manager, you’ll join us in this newly created role and will be responsible for managing our IT- and Technology implementation projects.

You will report to the Chief Technology Officer, and your mission will be to plan and implement various technical projects. You will work closely with cross-functional colleagues and internal/external stakeholders to determine project goals and strategies.

Let's dive into your key responsibilities

  • Facilitate the smooth delivery and completion of projects and support IT- and technology projects based on AUTOproff Tech Development Framework
  • Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues and teams to build a schedule and deadlines for the upcoming project
  • Continuously inspects project plans and status to ensure the progress remains on track
  • Produce and review progress reporting and key inputs and outputs from delivery teams
  • Create, manage, and update resource plans for stakeholders based on resources allocated, estimated tasks and rest-estimates received from implementation team.
  • Manage and track resource requirements in collaboration with management and stakeholders
  • Understand and discuss technical issues related to project management of digital-transformation-projects on high-level
  • Update central resource planning and forecast estimates for status- and well as SteCo meetings
  • Lead weekly status-meeting with the project delivery team and well as monthly SteCo meetings with executive stakeholders

The need-to-have skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology or equivalent relevant education
  • Strong project management skills from role in consulting or as project manager for larger public organization or private Enterprise, preferably international
  • Minimum 4-5 years’ experience with leading digital transformation projects within web/cloud/mobile applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Danish as well as English
  • The ability to coordinate with international – as well as cross-functional teams
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail to keep projects on track within the budget
  • Collaborative approach to problem solving and task management
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Holds a Project Management certification like PMP, SAFe Agile Framework or similar

The nice-to-have skills

  • Led Scrum teams, held Scrum Master role
  • Solid experience with using JIRA Confluence as Agile/Scrum Management tool
  • Solid experience with using MS Project for managing projects across e.g., progress, resource and change management
  • Solid experience with working close with digital Suppliers - and Supplier’s assigned project manager(s)
