You will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of VMware IT Infrastructure including VMware operation/reporting tools and provide Technical operational support globally for Product Supply in Novo Nordisk. You will be engaged in close dialogue with the IT architects, IT specialists and stakeholders across Novo Nordisk Product Supply globally to improve awareness on the technical deliveries of the IT Infrastructure services to meet business expectations.
- Stay ahead on industry trends and assess new products and technologies
- Evaluate feasibility of concepts and services from vendors and adapt to Novo Nordisk usage globally
- Define and document future architectures and ensure scalability
The successful candidate will have opportunity to work from either Bagsværd or Kalundborg, with flexibility to work from home part of the time.
To be successful in this role, we believe that you should have:
- VMware operation experience within critical high availability environments
- Good understanding of VMware technology stack, and tools like vROps and VMware Log Insight
- Good understanding of Hyper-conversed infrastructure, like VxRail and HPE Simplivity
- Good understanding of infrastructure, operations domain area, other IT technologies (e.g. covering networks, servers, platforms, applications, etc.)
- Written and spoken English is required
Certain level of mobility, since travel to our production sites might be necessary depending on activity.
About the department
The position is based in Global IT Operations - an area with 300+ employees distributed across more than 25 countries, managing our infrastructure operations and digital workplace services.
The team consists of highly qualified Information Technology Engineers, Technicians and IT-Architects who are responsible for IT infrastructure in Product Supply. Our team is working in close co-operation with Novo Nordisk in Bangalore, India, and external vendors.
We have a strong focus on collaboration, we are curious, and we are embracing new ideas on how to deliver projects successfully. We are on a journey applying agile ways of working in our organisation, and our IT projects will be delivered according to the SAFE framework with agile teams running sprints/iterations.
