Team Manager – IT Ope­ra­tions

A people leader with IT-related responsibilities

In Orifarm’s IT Operations team, we are looking for a Team Manager who is comfortable within the role as a sparring partner as well as being responsible for delivering IT services and – solutions to the business.

Lead and contribute

As our new Team Manager of IT Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring availability of agreed IT-services and – solutions. Further, you will be responsible for deliverables anchored in IT Operations to the business and third parties. You will lead a team of 7 talented employees and hence, function as a strong sparring partner for the team as well as for other stakeholders, including the business and the IT senior management.

Additionally, your main tasks include:

  • Developing, executing and tracking continuous improvements based on agreed roadmaps, underpinning the strategy
  • Managing prioritizations
  • Participating in and contributing to projects
  • Being responsible for budgets within IT Operations
  • Deliverables to important processes, incidents, problems, knowledge, patches, lifecycles, capacities
  • Establishing KPI’s and delivering input to reporting, to track progress and to be used within capacity management

A people leader with an IT background

You have 3+ years of experience in a similar position within an Enterprise and possess knowledge of IT infrastructure, mostly from the operating part. Hence, you are experienced in leading an IT Operations department or team, preferably within an larger international IT company. Therefore, you have skills within people management, which preferably include “virtual” and remote leadership.

You hold a relevant IT technical background, for example a degree or certification or similar. Further, you are experienced in people management, which preferably includes “virtual” and remote leadership.

Further, we imagine that you:

  • Have strong people skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Are experienced in working in complex high available and scalable environments. Preferably in a regulated sector where documentation is key
  • You are familiar with the ITIL framework. Especially incident process, problem management, knowledge management and capacity management
  • Are analytical and solution-oriented. It is important when translating technical requirements into solutions
  • Possess strong execution power and a drive to deliver on agreed strategies and roadmaps
  • Are strong in Danish and English, written and verbally

Moreover, you have a positive mindset and are able to prioritize which includes a structured and methodological approach. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and in cooperating with diverse stakeholders across functions.

IT Operations - Who are we?

  • Our core job is to keep existing services available to the business. This in accordance with defined service level agreements. We operate the Orifarm infrastructure from hardware to application layer, and from sites to cloud. In a virtualized Microsoft environment.
  • Main stakeholders are the other IT teams especially support, our solution designers and 3 part operations partners.
  • Tone is open, honest and direct, and humour is definitely an integrated part.

Job Location

Primary work location is at our headquarter in Odense. Remote work is possible and current rotation is 3 days in office and 2 days remotely depending on day to day schedule and personal preferences.
