Not only can agile principles increase team productivity, product quality and adaptability in the departments where they are introduced. Often, the joy and motivation of the small independent teams spreads to the rest of the organization.

The agile work is well underway - but the role of Agile Coach is still new at SDC

The time has come to speed things up, so now we are looking for YOU who can further develop and disseminate a common method and influence SDC in an even more agile direction.

You will become part of our agile competence center, which will be your home base, where you are surrounded by committed colleagues. We need someone with a sharp skillset to create a central anchoring of the agile initiatives in SDC and be an agile beacon.

A strategic, tactical, and operational role

The role of agile coach is wide-ranging – balanced between being an "evangelist" and a hands-on internal consultant. A good day for you is used among teams as you guide them to become even better. You succeed in inspiring people to create change and improve their way of working. You are curious to understand the context in which the team operates, identify obstacles to become more agile, and together with the team create a plan for further development.

The operational part takes up a lot of capacity: It is you, who step in and help when the participants in a project have limited agile knowledge and experience in the agile method or want sparring with an expert in the field. You will also have the opportunity to teach.

You will work both with individual teams and with departments that are at different maturity levels and guide them in establishing and applying the right processes, roles, and tools. You can also go into an existing team; clarify what level each team member is at and help them develop together.

At the same time, in cooperation with the team in our agile competence center, you will advise the organization on which cross-organizational initiatives should be launched to support and improve the agile method, e.g., within collection of requirements or test automation.

Certified Scrum Master or Agile Guru who is good at change management

To be successful in the job, you need to find a good balance between a strong knowledge of methods and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach. You thrive in a role where you lead by example, and you are motivated by working in a continuous learning and developing environment. And your good communication skills allow you to drive change and influence your colleagues.

You have a minimum of 3 years of experience with digital processes, product development – e.g., from the role of Scrum Master or Agile Coach. You can facilitate Scrum events from the first establishment of a Product backlog to a sprint retrospective that provides value for the team because you have done it many times and in several teams. You are also experienced in making collaboration between teams and stakeholders work, perhaps from a scaled, agile organization.

You have a relevant long-term education and experience from a regulated industry such as banking, pharma / medicine, finance, or the like. You speak and write fluent Danish and English, as about a third of our colleagues work in Warsaw.
