Product Owners - Be the ambassador for your product

Do you want to solve complex technical challenges as you bridge colleagues working in IT with our end users? And can you see yourself thriving in a company where our level of ambition is through the roof?

“The product you own will help us be among the greatest in the logistics business – so people all over the organisation are very grateful for the improvements you create,” says Senior Director in Business Applications Andreas Sørensen.

We guarantee your growth, no matter your level of expertise

We are looking for 3-5 new product owners with different levels of seniority to form our Business Application department to work in one of our four platforms: Product, Transport Operations, Common Enablers, and Technical Enablers.

Whether this is your first position as product owner or you already have several years under your belt, we support you in your professional development with relevant courses and increasing responsibility once you are ready.

"Depending on your own professional starting point and performance, your portfolio of products might increase – one day, you may even become the manager of your own platform,” Andreas continues.

Become the ambassador for your product

Your main task will be to manage the technical development process of one or more of our products as we transform our IT set-up. You will be the link connecting several parts of our organisation, as you collaborate closely with colleagues from IT, business change managers and business representatives.

Since we are following an agile framework, you will give relevant stakeholders status updates via sprint demoes every other week and larger product demonstrations in a wide forum of stakeholders every 3 months.

Among other things, you spend your time:

  • Participating in Scrum meetings, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming and ad hoc meetings with developers, architects, and other stakeholders
  • Keeping track of the product road map
  • Ensuring that your product is aligned with other products within the business
  • Reporting upwards in our organisation to ensure high levels of transparency

Join a global IT organisation

The environment in DSV and Road IT Europe is dynamic and informal, and we take pride in having a voice and using it whenever needed. Your future colleagues speak their minds to constantly improve how we do business. This allows us to move fast, stay ahead and face challenges head-on. This is the DSV way.

You have experience from an agile set-up

You are skilled at balancing the needs of the business with the capacities of our developers, and like us, you are open and honest in your communication. Your enthusiasm shines through, and your sense of responsibility enables you to think one step ahead in the process.

We furthermore imagine that you:

  • Have experience as a business analyst, architect, developer, or a product owner – the important thing is that you have worked in agile set-up before
  • Might have experience working with digital platforms – it does not matter from which industry
  • Speak and write English on a professional level, as you get colleagues from anywhere from Poland to New Delhi
