Scrum Master part Full Stack developer

The role

Our Product Development department is looking for the right person to take the role of scrum master while also contributing to development of our software products. The department is projected to grow to 10+ developers over the next year, and we are therefore looking for a person with the desire to take control of the agile development and ensure that the team work efficiently and release features. 

In this role you will be working closely with product management in a KANBAN agile setting. Over time you are expected to focus most of your time on acting as scrum master and less on development as the team grows. You will refer to the Manager of Product Development

This position is an opportunity to combine your knowledge of software development with that of experts in medical data analytics to create specialized tools that support research in disease treatment for patients.

Our ideal candidate is experienced in software development and agile development and is already or looking to becoming a scrum master. Also the candidate has experience in developing web applications and working with a Javascript framework (React, Vue.js, AngularJS...) and has good people skills.

Your key tasks include

  • Managing user stories and tasks in our JIRA board
  • Driving the agile process ensuring good specifications, tests and reviews
  • Road map planning with product management
  • Release planning and release testing
  • Development of frontend features in Vue.js

Your essential qualifications

  • Master degree in software engineering (or equivalent work experience 5+ years)
  • 2+ years experience in software development
  • Experience in web frontend development (Vue.js, Angular or React.)
  • Experience in Javascript, GIT, CI/CD
  • SCRUM/KANBAN agile methodology

Your additional qualifications

  • Python programming
  • REST API, Apache
  • Knowledge of cell biology, genetic and health data

Your new team

You will join a team of 4 developers based in our Copenhagen Office. We have been working on several products for over 3 years (see inbio-discover.com) and will expand the team with 4-8 new developers to speed up release of features on the products. We are an informal, open, professional, multicultural and flexible team of developers striving to release best in class software for health care and pharma researchers, while having lots of fun.

The team is part of ZS | Intomics that has ~50 experts in medical data analytics and research and we are a part of a larger global organization working out of our attractively located Copenhagen office (Sorgenfri, Denmark).
