Cloud Architect

Do you want to be part of one of Denmark's largest IT companies? Do you want to develop both personally and professionally? And do you have previous experience as a Cloud Architect? Then it might be you we are looking for!

Be a part of the CTO Office!

The purpose of our team is to help our key software sectors explore how new technologies can bring innovation. This could be focused on how new technology can help the public sector create a greener future, or perhaps optimize the financial sector. So, if you are comfortable with finding your way without a map, if you feel at home in innovation projects and if you can operate on all levels of an organization, you might be our new Cloud Architect.

Join us in this new role and be part of the team that drives the strategy together with our innovation agenda across different product areas in KMD. We are anchored at the very top of the organization and functions across the organization. In the CTO office we are a mixture of strategic thinkers and technology executers. Our ideas are not only kept in PowerPoints and post-its but will manifest themselves as POCs and MVPs exploring how new technology can benefit our customers and products.

You will join a cross disciplinary team with a flat hierarchy and close collaboration. We are a team of 9 people placed in Ballerup and Warsaw, and you will be working from our headquarter in Ballerup.

We have an impactful and broad agenda spanning from running innovation projects, exploring new technology, and coaching product development teams across the whole organization.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • Supporting the organization in building the tactic for a multi-cloud strategy (Provider Portfolio, Reference Architecture).
  • Exploring and managing new technology opportunities from our strategic technology partners.
  • Working on our technology map and keeping it updated and relevant by continuous research of emerging digital trends and technologies within.
  • Evaluating technology and designing and executing the PoCs to find out if a given technology is mature enough to be adopted and if it can build a market advantage over our competitors.
  • Collaborating with our team and its developers. Facilitating exploration projects, setting up and testing hypotheses for technology feasibility, user desirability and business viability.
  • Keeping an eye on what is happening across product teams in the architecture domain - challenge and be challenged.

We want you in our team if you:

  • Have experience (5+ years) as a Cloud Architect (or similar) with demonstrable experience working in public, commercial and/or industrial sectors.
  • Have demonstrable understanding of architecture principles, enterprise-grade service design patterns, and best practices across public, private and/or hybrid clouds.
  • Are curious about people, products, and technologies and can use your curiosity to shape and execute new projects and see business opportunities through new technology.
  • Are experienced in communicating with top-level executives, business stakeholders, and external customers.
  • Are fluent in English and Danish.

It would be nice if you tick some of these boxes:

  • Have practical experience with multiple cloud stack providers (e.g., Microsoft, Amazon, Hetzner).
  • Have 10+ years of experience in roles including application architecture design and software development (hands-on).
  • Have hands-on experience in building technology strategies and roadmaps.

You will love working with us for:

Professional Development. You will have great opportunities to grow in your role. You get to participate in on-site meetups, conferences, and attend an average of 40 hours of training yearly. Besides this, you can also take part in our internal mobility program.

Meaningful and impactful work. In the job you will make an impact that lasts by creating and implementing technological solutions. The solutions you impact improve the lives of millions of people in the public and private sectors.

Talented and trusted people. You will cooperate with open-minded colleagues and experienced managers in an atmosphere full of trust.
