Developing solutions in the IT development Team for an ever growing business

Comfortable working in a team to deliver incremental changes to the business on existing applications, and also creating new applications from scratch together with the end-users? If this is you, then we have a job for you in our IT Development team as we are expanding the team with two new Developers.
About the job
At Orifarm, you will be part of a professional, international and flexible environment. You will be working with end-users, business - and process owners to optimize their work by delivering bespoke software solutions. We require that you are physically present at our office in Odense approximately 2 days a week which means you have the flexibility to work from any location the other days.
You will be placed in the IT Development team where we have the responsibility for delivering bespoke software solutions to all departments in the Orifarm Group across Europe. Our goal is to continuously deliver improvements to the existing setup, while also creating new applications when needed or when existing applications get obsolete.
We work with a mix of technologies were some are state-of-the-art like Blazor, Azure Devops, .Net 6 and EF core, but also some more legacy options like WPF, WinForms and SQL. The solutions we create is based on a right tool for the job methodology. Therefore, we are open for all new technologies that can increase the quality of the solutions we create, or improve the daily process of maintaining a large application portfolio which has undergone development in the last 14 years.
The solutions we develop for the business support a lot of different processes, among these are:
- Registration management for handling all approvals of products going to the markets
- Quality feedback for storing all product feedback from consumers
- Several cockpits for sales, purchase and research for fast overview and interactions
- Integrations to third party solutions
Who are you?
Besides programming epic solutions, you appreciate informal contact with the business to debate new functionality and discover new use cases. Besides, you also enjoy the more simple change requests directly from the business which just need to be done to keep the company growing.
In the long term, you will employ an holistic view on the application portfolio to ensure future solutions and changes are made, not only with the right tool but also in the right system and in the right process. You communicate fluently in Danish and English, both written and orally as those are the company languages.
Last but not least, we expect you to:
- Hold a relevant educational background, e.g. a Bachelor’s degree, from which you have acquired programming techniques
- Have minimum 5 years of experience in development and designing applications for enterprise use
- Possess knowledge of .Net and SQL databases. Ideally, you have also worked with Winforms, WPF and ORM

We are a team of 8 people and our main focus are to develop and maintain applications used by the business for their daily work. We are part of a large IT organization consisting of 80 people, which includes teams specialized in Data, Applications and Operations. We work across teams in the day to day work as we all strive to deliver the optimal solutions in a joint effort.
As a pharmaceutical company, we have to live up to Gamp5 and GxP rules and document our changes accordingly and follow processes to ensure the quality of our systems are sufficient.

The job is located at our Head Quarter in Odense. We expect you to be physically present at our office in Odense approximately 2 days a week which means you have the flexibility to work from any location the other days, including our office in Søborg.
