Senior C# Developer with an interest in platform de­ve­l­op­ment

The R&D Software Development department is split into business segment teams and a platform team. Business segment teams deliver the SW for the end products, whereas the platform team controls and develops the common functionality and features for our instruments.

The R&D Software department comprises of more than 80 people within software development and makes up for about 1/3 of the R&D organization in FOSS - and we are growing.

The job

We are looking for a backend developer for our platform development team. You will work closely together with other software developers and the software PO in the team. We follow an agile development process.

We value cooperation and take pride in good team spirit, and we always focus on how we can assist each other in reaching our goals of delivering high-quality products.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Develop platform components and software used by other project teams
• Take responsibility for architectural design of the implemented solutions
• Support other project teams and ensure successful implementation of platform code
• Troubleshooting and bug fixing
• Follow agile processes
• Participate in the daily teamwork

Your daily work will be at the FOSS innovation center in Hillerød Denmark.

Qualifications

• Experienced software engineer or computer scientist
• Experienced C# /.Net software engineer
• A strong knack for architectural design and know when to apply various patterns
• A genuine interest in platform development
• Strong knowledge of SW tool chain in a professional environment
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and scrum development processes
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (TFS)
