We are looking for a new colleague to join us in this newly created position as Domain Architect. The position can be based at our Headquarter in Vejle or office in Copenhagen.

We are the emerging European leader in digital dealer-to-dealer trading, with more than 120,000 cars on auction in 2021. AUTOproff was established in 2013 to digitize B2B vehicle trading, helping car dealers grow sales and improve profits from used car trading.

About the role

As our new Domain Architect, you will be responsible for a part of our solution and will leading a cross functional team with a product owner and working closely with other domain architect, teams, the enterprise architects, and other shared teams to drive the development of the whole solution.

You will report to our CTO Lars Bøtker Farsø and be instrumental to the Tech and Product functions.

Let's dive into your key responsibilities

• You will be a member of the architects’ team and will participate in developing the high-level architecture and principles of the solution
• Ensuring high-quality architecture and design of the services and domains owned by your team and how these are developed and maintained.
• Participate in the refinement and planning of the future tasks in the solution roadmap
• With your team, you have responsibility of implementing user stories from design to prod
• Leading and driving the daily activities for your team to develop and deliver planned work.
• Coaching and helping team members on the best SW engineering best practices
• Help in code reviews, release reviews, and production investigations.
• Plan and drive activities to control the technical debt of the services owned by your team
• Evaluating and enhancing the technical skills of your domain team members.

The need-to-have skills

• Experience developing business architecture in .NET (alternatively in Java or similar well-established programming language) and in using a Service-oriented application- and solution architecture to achieve full flexibility and scalability in the solution architecture
• Extensive hands-on experience developing front-end solutions (website, customer portals, ecommerce)
• As we use Vue.js for Web clients and React Native for Mobile App development, your previous experience with one or both technologies will be a great advantage
• Extensive hands-on experience developing back-end solutions (.net / Micro Services)
• Hands-on experience using JIRA for Agile development
• Experience with operation and maintenance of Cloud based Architecture, including experience from close collaboration with Cloud hosting partner (such as AWS or MS azure) from previous employment will be an advantage
• Excellent communication skills, and a great ability to communicate with stakeholders, suppliers, and partners effectively and clearly regarding digital and technical solutions, deliveries, and risks in managing major digitization projects and deliveries

The nice-to-have skills

• Experience with scaled agile frameworks such as SAFe or Spotify model
• Experience with DevOps practices and continues delivery setup.
• Scalability and security of microservice architecture.
• Migration of monolithic applications to Microservice architecture.
• Hands on experience with PHP
• Hands on experience with Vue.js and/or React Native
