Are you experienced in best practice for Master Data Management concepts and want to be a sparring partner within this area? And are you experienced in tracing complex relations between data sources, frontend applications and related business processes, as well as processing large amounts of data? About the job

We are looking for a Master Data Management Lead to join our Data Governance Competency Center. You will be a cornerstone in Master Data Management initiatives. Your main responsibility is to develop and implement Master Data concepts and hence, create a framework on how to work with these concepts based on best practices. Further, in cooperation with Data Governance colleagues, you will help to verify and enrich information gathered in our Data Governance application.

You will be based in our HQ in Odense and interact with colleagues from all parts of the organization across Europe.

You will facilitate corporate Master Data decisions, including:

• Verifying and/or identifying data inconsistencies as well as providing documentation for alignment decisions
• Verifying and/or assigning data classifications
• Verifying and/or defining quality rules and business rules for data assets
• Performing data profiling and data quality analysis
• Verifying, enriching and/or establishing data lineage between data assets
• Verifying and/or establishing associations between data assets
• Being sparring partner and subject matter expert on Master Data Management

Who are you?

Your highly systematic way of working and excellent understanding of data structure is the foundation of your DNA. Your strong analytical mindset and deep interest in understanding the business behind the definitions makes you a responsible task manager.

We prefer that you:

• Have a structured approach to and understanding of data management
• Have an education as well as experience within Business Administration or Information Technology
• Are fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Have gained experience from a similar position in an international corporation
• Have experience with Dynamics AX, SAP, Power BI and especially SQL
• Understand the need for a company to be data-driven

Further, we imagine that you are deeply interested in learning and seeking the optimal solutions considering all business perspective. You deploy your positive attitude, high energy, and ability to keep calm when tasks and/or deadlines are many and tight.

Job Location
