In Nuuday, we are currently in the process of modernizing our Business Intelligence setup. We build end-to-end data services that support our commercial business with a clear strategy to get into the cloud with full support from top management.

Develop the new data platform in Nuuday

In Nuuday we have a lot of diverse data sources (tele, internet, TV streaming, music streaming, VOD, IoT, quality metrics besides various touchpoints and interactions and plenty more). To accommodate the high demand for data and empower data professionals in Nuuday, we are creating a new data platform with modern cloud technologies based on contemporary architecture principles.

Whether you are a newly educated or an experienced BI engineer, you will be key for us to succeed with our strategy. In Nuuday we offer you a great opportunity to enhance and test your capabilities within the full Business Intelligence value chain to create relevant data services to support our commercial business. 

What will you do?

Most of your time will be dedicated to applying your craft within a workgroup of highly skilled data people developing end-to-end data services to various business units. As a BI engineer you will be responsible for data sourcing, engineering, and analysis. But most important is whatever you are doing, you will bring value to our customers.

The team

You will be a part of the Azure BI Services team consisting of 8 highly skilled data professionals with various backgrounds and different seniority levels. We have focus on personal development but having fun at the same time. We like to celebrate our successes.

You

• Solid skills in data modelling
• Experience with Microsoft Azure is preferred
• Solid skills in SQL, DAX and visualization/analysis/statistical tools (preferably Power BI)
• You are outspoken with the ability to handle stakeholders to identify needs and translate these into relevant insights.
• Appreciate a way of working with narrow scopes (MVP) and continuous delivery
• Always strive to learn and curious by nature
