Support Consultant with a flair for software

UNIwise seeks a service minded support consultant with a flair of technical troubleshooting to our support team, where we deliver 2nd level support to educational institutions for our digital exam and assessment platform, WISEflow. Providing more than 3,4 mio. exams for students in well-respected higher educational institutions in Europe each year we are both proud and aware of the responsibility.
What tasks and responsibilities await you?
As a Support Consultant you work closely with the support team to support our customers. At UNIwise we understand the processes and challenges of being a higher educational institution and as a supporter you have customer interests at heart and walk an extra mile to supply them with the best solution to their challenges. You will help facilitate problems and solutions internally in the company between teams and departments.
You report to the Support Team Lead but will daily work with the other Support Consultants for the support based in both the Danish and UK office. Together you will maintain support to all our customers throughout Europe and UK and ensure we help them according to our values, contracts and their needs. Work hours are Monday-Thursday 09.00-17.00 and Friday 08.30-16.00 but with flexibility as it may be necessary to provide support cover over a couple of weekends during the year. The position can be either full-time or part-time.
- 2nd level support through phone, chat and tickets
- Maintain guides, documentation and other supporting material
- Provide link and communication between customers, development and other departments
- Create and follow up on tickets and cases we have with 3rd party suppliers
- Undertake test and quality assurance of new functionality and provide test results, feedback and evaluation of these
- On location support and consultancy tasks may occur
What are we looking for?
You possess a fair technical understanding and you typically find it easy to understand and operate new systems and software. Maybe you have an education and/or experience within IT support. If not, we can teach you what you don’t know, but your motivation, engagement and commitment must come from within. You communicate fluently in both Danish and English (any German skills is appreciated).
In general, we at UNIwise consider personal competences and drive far more important than a particular education level. We expect you to work independently and in a self-governed and structured manner with an eye to details and consistency. A service minded attitude and a high level of flexibility will get you far.
