IT System Manager

The position

You will join our technical support team of 11 dedicated engineers and technicians who daily ensure that the production systems run optimally and that we always work according to the applicable requirements. Included in the team are 3 experienced IT engineers who will ensure a smooth onboarding and support for their new colleague.

Some of your main tasks includes:

  • To support and optimize the day-to-day operations of the production IT and automation equipment, including troubleshooting, as well as managing the role of administrator on our systems.
  • To ensure IT security and data integrity by working in accordance with Novo Nordisk procedures and external guidelines for Computer Systems Validation.
  • A particular focus on IT compliance and documentation tasks that are a significant part of your work.
  • Maintain and develop our existing IT infrastructure including firewalls and wireless networks.

We are continuously optimizing our processes and implement further automation, where you will play an integral role in innovative and technical projects in close cooperation with line managers and international suppliers. Therefore will periodically be on call on weekdays.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Experience with IT systems and computerized equipment used for pharmaceutical production, experience with IT projects and GMP understanding but if not, being technically adept and focused on quality and documentation is a clear advantage.
  • Educational background within Engineering, IT or similar (Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree will be a significant plus)
  • Experience from working project based, and LEAN knowledge is an advantage.
  • Knowledge with OPC-servers, database support, network configuration, firewalls and/ or PLC-programming is a plus.
  • Good communication skills in Danish and English is a requirement.

About the department

Oral Finished Products, Hormone Replacement Therapy Packaging (HRT), located in Måløv, is the production facility where we assemble and pack all our HRT products such as Vagifem®, Activelle® and other tablet dispenser products. Our responsibility is to ensure the supply of these products to all our markets worldwide.

We are around 100 people in our department, organised in 3 teams working with manufacturing, warehouse and planning, and 3 support teams working with technical services and process support.

IT and automation are integrated in all our equipment, furthermore, we are on an innovation and digitalisation journey to enable deeper insights and optimisation of our processes and performance.
