Student job at engine me­cha­ni­cal de­ve­l­op­ment de­part­ment at MAN Energy Solutions


At our Engine mechanical development department within R&D at MAN Energy solutions, we are looking for a student for help with development tools. The tools are typically used to automate tasks and work smarter and are generally written in Python environment. The tools will indirectly contribute to the development of yet more reliable, efficient and greener large 2-stroke marine engines.

The tasks vary, from data analysis, application development, user interface (we use Qt) to work with databases (SQL). We expect you have some programming experience, preferably with Python and you are comfortable with data analysis and plotting. We use Git for version control.

We are looking for someone that is:

  • Used to work with Python, especially in data analysis, plotting, etc
  • Currently enrolled in a Masters or Bachelor program
  • At least 1 year before finishing your education

We expect that you can work around 10-15h/week, where the time placement is flexible. Work location is Teglholmsgade 41, 2450SV, København
