About the team
- Vibration Diagnostics is responsible for the software applications needed to monitor the Siemens Gamesa turbine fleet. This ranges from data collection to diagnostics models and user front-end for handling warnings.
- Vibration Diagnostics is divided in three agile teams that are part of the Diagnostics Agile Release Train following the SAFe methodology and to foster ownership and high velocity we follow the approach of stream aligned teams.
- We have adapted a hybrid working environment where we are in the office averagely 2 days per week for important meetings and collaboration around whiteboards and the rest of time, we collaborate remote using MS teams.
As Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer, you’ll play an important role in:
- developing Infrastructure as Code, incl. continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines
- assuring good practices and general DevOps knowledge sharing
- Monitoring, alerting, and logging for applications
- Depending on skills and personal preferences, you could also play a role in network design, cyber security, or API development.
To succeed in the role, you have:
To grow the team working with our data science application developed in Python, we are looking for a Senior DevOps engineer to join the team of skilled developers and experts working with the newest technologies within Azure cloud using Bicep, Functions, Docker, Batch, Python and Azure DevOps. The team is adopting cloud native technologies and CI/CD using Azure Pipelines.
For this team, we are looking for a skilled Cloud DevOps engineer with skills in some of the core technologies that the team uses. The ideal candidate has a structured approach to software development and have a clear idea of how to structure a codebase efficiently as well as a “test first” mindset.
Collaboration and a continuous learning environment are key to our success and as the team share the ownership of the software, the team members continuously strive to pair program and learn from each other. In Vibration Diagnostics Development you will have the option for personal growth as well as mentoring colleagues.
- experience working with the SOLID, TDD, Clean Code / Architecture principles
- experience with Infrastructure as a Code
- experience with Azure resources, such as storage, queues, serverless functions, message brokers and containers
- experience with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes with the ability to incorporate IT and data security
- skilled developing in Python or another scripting language
- experience writing object-oriented code
