We’re building and shaping the private cloud area

Your new team – HCP OpenStack – is based at the DSV headquarters in Hedehusene and responsible for developing our private cloud solutions. We are a small international team, currently consisting of 7 developers that work together from various parts of the world.

Though one colleague checks in daily from California while others occasionally work from home, we see each other almost every day in the office or in short online meetings, if working from home. So, you will be joining a team where we know each other well. What’s more we are open and honest and share a heartfelt team spirit.

Dive into DevOps and open-source tools

The job is all about developing software to deliver compute power under software applications. As a junior IT specialist, you will get to work hands-on with development tasks, while at the same time learning the ropes from your more experienced colleagues.

Mainly, you will spend your time developing top-of-the line private cloud solutions as you get to explore OpenStack private cloud technology, as well as a wide range of open-source tools.

“OpenStack is used everywhere in places like Blizzard, Walmart and US Army Cyber School”, Jacob explains.

We are looking for curious technophiles

You do not need years of experience – in fact, we are totally open to your background, as long as you are tech-savvy, enjoy collaborating and want to learn from other DevOps specialists.

As much of the tech used is new and still being built, we will train you as part of your daily work. We learn every day, and so will you.

Moreover, it doesn’t hurt if you have:

• Knowledge of at least one programming language
• A degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent
• An interest in working with cloud solutions and infrastructure-as-code
• A high proficiency in spoken and written English
