Is knowledge of financial flows within a Transport Management System a part of your portfolio? And do you want to be a crucial part of a major strategic business transformation program in DSV? Configuration, feature breakdown and validation of new functionality delivered by the software supplier are part of your responsibilities - does it sound like you?

By joining Road IT, you will take part in the implementation of our future Transport Management System. We intend to roll out in more than 30 countries in Europe over the coming years. You will be the responsible for the validation of new or existing features, new and existing, delivered from our software supplier, in particular the finance related parts.

Finance flows can be complex, and the logical and methodical part of your brain will be put to good use.

We are offering a unique opportunity for you, who have a sound understanding of settlement processes and rules. You apply your financial knowledge related to settlements, invoicing, agreements and VAT rules - within the possibilities in the Transport Management System (Blujay/TM-LSP from E2Open) and SAP. Furthermore, you learn, understand, and configure DSV specific financial flows in the TMS solution.

Your qualifications to succeed

Good understanding of master data and how rule tables can be configured is an advantage. Knowledge of financial flows and settlement processes, flows within a Transport Management System and the transport and logistics industry in general, is preferred. Knowledge of writing SQL queries is also preferred. Understanding of software development cycles is also an advantage.

You have a bachelor’s degree in IT and Economics or a MSc in Business Administration and Information Systems or a closely related field. Alternatively, if you have hands-on experience within the financial domain, do not hesitate to apply either.

Tasks for you in Road IT

Your tasks will among others be to:

• support and prepare existing and new features within the financial domain of the Transport Management System and its eco systems
• validate new functionality delivered by the software supplier
• read or create Functional Design Documents

Your area of responsibility also includes:

• feature breakdown within the financial domain: Analyze the design of the feature and find out how it can be configured in the application
• configuration of rule sets: Combine the logic of master data to create rules within the financial domain

Project Managers, Business Change Managers, Product Owners, and Solution Architects

Just to mention a few of your colleagues-to-be. You will take part of the problem solving by analyzing any inconsistencies in the flows in the application. You design, apply, and test the resolution. Cross functional alignment with software supplier, DSV IT partners and Business Change Management etc. is a part of our daily work.
